Sarah joins the OCRFM in January 2017 for her first market season! She's been around the local food block for several years working on farm to school coordination in Nebraska, raising heritage beef on the family ranch, building community gardens in rural landscapes, and managing an urban farmers' market. When not kicking around in the kitchen cooking with local and seasonal foods, Sarah spends most of her time outside playing, hiking and biking with her family and cattledog.
Brande' joins the OCRFM in February 2017 for her first market season! She has a strong commitment to supporting local businesses and has been involved in the local food movement for years through her work on the Open Harvest Co-op Grocery Board of Directors. Brande' has enjoyed the OCRFM as a consumer for many years and is very excited to be a part of this amazing market. When she's not volunteering or working, she is spending time with her awesome family, cooking, gardening, biking and struggling to get the laundry folded.
Stop by the market info booth this season and introduce yourself!
Good ideas, recipes, and connections are always welcome.
