Recipe for August 28, 2011
1 - 2 pounds Beef Kebabs*, depending on numbers to be served
Marinade (Makes 3 1/2 cups)
1 1/2 cup olive oil 1 tablespoon coarsely ground black pepper
3/4 cup soy sauce 1/2 cup vinegar
1/4 cup Worcestershire Sauce 1 1/2 teaspoon dried parsley flakes
2 tablespoons dry mustard 2 crushed garlic cloves*
2 1/4 teaspoons salt 1/3 cup fresh squeezed lemon juice
Vegetables: tomatoes* onions*, green pepper*, zucchini* or okra*
Marinate the vegetables and beef kebabs for at least a half day.
Alternate beef kebabs and vegetables on skewers. Each screwer should be a complete meal. Rotate and baste with the marinade as they are grilling.
